ASC standards

ASC Abalone Standard

The ASC Abalone Standard applies globally to all locations and scales of abalone aquaculture production systems. It offers certification for all species belonging to the genus Haliotis. A brief introduction to the Standard can be found here. The Standard is available in English.

ASC Bivalve Standard

The ASC Bivalve Standard applies globally to all locations and scales of bivalve aquaculture production systems. It offers certification for all filter-feeding bivalves. A brief introduction to the Standard can be found here. The Standard is available in English and Japanese.

ASC Freshwater Trout Standard

The ASC Freshwater Trout Standard applies to all locations and scales of freshtwater tour farm-based aquaculture production systems in the world. It offers certification for any salmonid species grown in fresh water. A brief introduction to the Standard can be found here. The Standard is available in English and Danish.

ASC Pangasius Standard

The ASC Pangasius Standard applies globally to all locations and any scale of pangasius aquaculture production systems. It offers certification for two pangasius species: Pangasianodon hypophthalmus and Pangasius bocourti. A brief introduction to the Standard can be found here. The Standard is available in English and Vietnamese.

ASC Salmon Standard

The ASC Salmon Standard can be applied to all locations and scales of salmon aquaculture production systems. It offers certification for all species belonging to the genus Salmo and Oncorhynchus. A brief introduction to the Standard can be found here. The Standard is available in English and Japanese.

ASC Seriola and Cobia Standard

The ASC Seriola and Cobia Standard can be applied to all locations and scales of Seriola and cobia aquaculture production. It offers certification for Seriola quinqueradiataS. dumeriliS. rivolianaS. lalandiS. dorsalis and cobia (Rachycentron canadum). The standard is available in English and Japanese.

ASC Shrimp Standard

The ASC Shrimp Standard applies to all locations and scales of shrimp farm-based aquaculture production systems in the world. It offers certification for all species under the genus Litopenaeus and Penaeus. Other species of shrimp are eligible for certification if they can meet the performance thresholds specified in the standard. A brief introduction to the standard can be found here. ASC Tilapia Standard

The ASC Tilapia Standard applies to all locations and scales of tilapia farm-based aquaculture production systems in the world. The ASC Tilapia Standard is intended for internationally traded tilapia. It offers certification for all tilapia species. A brief introduction to the standard can be found here. The standard is available in English and Mandarin.
