ASC auditor training courses second half 2014

ASC is organising auditor training for five of its standards species – abalone, bivalves, pangasius, salmon and tilapia – during the second half of 2014 across different countries. Successful participation is a mandatory requirement to become an accredited auditor.

Only accredited certification bodies are allowed to conduct farm audits against the ASC Standards. Certifiers who would like to be accredited should contact Accreditation Service International (ASI).

Who should attend the training?

Auditors from applicant certification bodies that aim to be accredited for the ASC abalone, bivalves, pangasius, salmon, and tilapia standards.

Tilapia 15-17 July Guangzhou, China

Pangasius 3-5 August Can Tho, Vietnam

Salmon 20-22 October Santiago, Chile

Bivalves 23-25 October Santiago, Chile

Abalone 10-11 November location to be confirmed

Cost

350 Euros per training day (abalone training course is two days, all other courses are three days).

The cost covers training materials, teaching by a professional and experienced trainer, exam participation, lunch and refreshments. Not included in the price is travel cost, accommodation and other related expenditures.

To register for the training, or for more information, please email certification@asc-aqua.org by the following dates:

  • Tilapia by Friday, 4 July
  • Pangasius by Monday, 14 July
  • Salmon by Monday, 29 September
  • Bivalve by Monday, 29 September
  • Abalone by Monday, 20 October

The number of participants per training course is limited. Spaces are offered on a first come, first served basis.
