ASC Tilapia Standard Training for Certification Bodies

The Aquaculture Stewardship Council is providing training to auditors related to the ASC Tilapia Standard. Successful completion of this training is a mandatory requirement of the ASC accreditation process. Interested Certification Bodies can apply for accreditation for this standard at Accreditation Services International (ASI).

Accreditation for the ASC Tilapia Standard already opened early 2012. Once accredited, you will be allowed to audit aquaculture operations on the proper implementation of the ASC Tilapia Standard.

Who should attend

Auditors of applicant Certification Bodies, who are interested in performing audits of the proper implementation of the ASC Tilapia Standard at Tilapia farming Aquaculture operations.

Venue

The training will take place at [VENUE TO BE ANNOUNCED], Haikou (Hainan Province), China. You can fly to [TO BE ANNOUNCED] Airports from a wide range of international and domestic airports.

FYI: most travellers to China will need to arrange for a visa.

Date

25 – 27 June 2013, 09.00 – 17.30hrs daily.

Costs

Participation costs are 350 euros per attendant per day (1,050 euros for full, 3 days’ training)
(included: training materials, 3 days’ training participation by a professional and experienced trainer, exam participation, coffee/tea/water and simple lunch during training)

(NOT included: travel costs, accommodation and all other related costs)
