ASC”s CEO to speak at Responsible Business Forum in Hanoi

The Aquaculture Stewardship Council has partnered with Global Initiatives for the 2nd Responsible Business Forum on Food and Agriculture.

The Responsible Business Forum on Food and Agriculture, which will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam, from 23-24 June, is organized by Global Initiatives, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, WWF and VCCI.

The forum brings together more than 350 global leaders to explore innovative and collaborative approaches to improving agricultural productivity and environmental sustainability across key commodity value chains, including aquaculture.

ASC’s CEO, Chris Ninnes, is among the speakers for the two-day programme and will be chairing the aquaculture working group.

Working groups will produce recommendations on sustainable land use, equitable opportunity for small-holder farmers, increasing productivity and improving rural livelihoods while reducing environmental impacts.
