Pasta with mussels for 4 persons


  • 1 kg mussels
  • 500 g linguine (spaghetti)
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 3 shallots
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Parisian mushrooms
  • pepper and salt

Instructions / directions

Cook the linguini in lightly salted water. Pre-cook the mussels in a saucepan without adding too much salt, the mussels are naturally salty. Drain and keep some cooking water on the side. Finely cut the shallots and the garlic. Chop the parsley. Cut the mushrooms in slices. 

Fry the shallots, garlic and parsley with a knob of butter in a saucepan. Add the drained linguin and pre-cooked mussels to the pot, cover with a lid and let it cook for a few minutes. Check the pasta and mussels from time to time, season with salt, pepper, parsley and tarragon. Serve hot.
