Fabiola Mustafaj has been the Junior Research Coordinator at the ASC Netherlands since September 2022. She studied Environmental Sciences and Technology at a bachelor level and Aquaculture and Marine Resource Management in her masters and has gained an insight on environmental issues with a focus on water-related topics and alternative and sustainable aquaculture practices and systems. In her previous role as the Education and Research Coordinator at the Green Office in Wageningen, she has been involved in making the university more sustainable.
Fabiola believes that sustainable and green change can happen in every sector through research, which is what propels humanity forwards by fueling curiosity. Without it, there would be no progress. However, effective change can only happen through collaboration and sharing of knowledge among the different stakeholders involved.
In her free time, she enjoys making upcycled art, exploring new places and activities around the Netherlands and practicing minimalism.
