The Public Comment Draft Report is now available for stakeholder consultation (see document here). The ASC-MSC provides a set of guidelines and templates to assist in the transfer of information between stakeholders and Certification Bodies. These should be used for any comments you wish to make on this or any other stage of the assessment process and can be found here.
Should you wish to submit comments please complete the relevant section and return it to us no later than 17:00 UTC on 22nd November 2020.
The Final Report and Determination for the ASC-MSC seaweed assessment is now available on the link here. The Determination reached by SAI Global’s decision-makers is that: – The operation should be certified.
Now, follows a period of 10 working days during which eligible parties may file a ‘Notice of Objection’ to the Final Draft Report and Determination. Notices of Objection’ must be submitted by: ▪ 17:00 UTC on Monday, 15 December 2020.
‘Notices of Objection’ should be filed following the ASC-MSC Objection Procedure found in Annex B of the ASC-MSC Certification and Accreditation Requirements.
No notice of objection during the period required for comment on the Final Report. Therefore, we are delighted to announce the release of the Public Certification Report for Veramaris and that Veramaris is now certified under the ASC-MSC Seaweed Standard. Veramaris is now now certified for 3 years, subject to successful completion of annual surveillance audits.
